Our Quest, Their Success
FREE Workshop for School Educators,
School Administrators, & the General Public
Our Quest Beginning May 1, 2013, the U.S. Green Building Council-Missouri Gateway Chapter will challenge public and private schools in Missouri and southern Illinois to devise and implement, with the help of green mentors, the most creative, effective and no or low cost sustainable practices for their schools.
Their Success Ginny Kurrus, Education Director for USGBC - Arkansas Chapter, will join us to share success stories from schools in the Arkansas Chapter territory that engaged in a similar green schools challenge.Join us on April 30th to:
- Learn how you can participate in the Green Schools Quest - as a school or mentor
- Explore winning green school projects.
- Tour sustainable features of Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle/High School.

PARKING & ENTRANCE DETAILS
Parking for this event is available in the Maplewood Family Aquatic Center parking lot, 7550 Lohmeyer (63143). The distance between the parking lot and theatre entrance is equivalent to 2½ blocks. In an effort to promote sustainable practices, we ask that attendees walk from the parking lot to the theatre. In the case of rain, bus shuttles will be provided.
Additionally, the Maplewood-Manchester Metrolink station is located on Manchester 4 blocks east of MRH Middle/High School.
Free for all attendees.

10:15 - 10:40 am - Learn how you can engage in the Green Schools Quest as a school or mentor
10:40 - 11:00 am - Informational Booths
11:00 - 11:30 am - Guided tour of sustainable features at Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle/High School(A portion of the tour will take place from the exterior of the building; please dress accordingly.)
