Return to the USGBC- Missouri Gateway Chapter Website
Michael Zatz, from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will help us kick-off our 25 x 20 Voluntary Energy Benchmarking Campaign, an effort of the St. Louis High Performance Building Initiative to challenge the region to reduce energy use by 25% by 2020 by benchmarking their buildings with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Zatz is responsible for oversight of ENERGY STAR’s Portfolio Manager energy benchmarking tool, which has been used by over 300,000 buildings to evaluate and track their energy and water use. He will present an overview of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and discuss the many benefits of energy and water benchmarking.
This is part of a two-part Energy Benchmarking Education Session. Check out the second session, a hands-on ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Workshop, on May 6.
